To fully exhaust the potential of high-performance fibers for textile-reinforced lightweight structures, innovations should be generated by application-related and product-specific developments of textile-based technologies and plant systems that are directly linked up to the preform and component production. To this end the entire textile production chain is represented within the Alliance, starting from fiber production and functionalization.
