In many industrial sectors quality and process control require a quantitative determination of element concentrations. The tasks are manifold and include the detection of unwanted contaminations, the verification of functional layers or the dopant content as well as the recovery of valuable substances in recycling. At Fraunhofer IMWS we have not only specialized in elemental analysis in high purity materials but also in the development of inline capable analytical methods. In this online session we will give an overview of the methods available in our laboratory and demonstrate the wide range of applications showing numerous examples.
